Making Letters Move

The images are the product of an assignment I did in typography class. The purpose of the assignment was to create movement with type that described specific words. Students were to apply their knowledge of the six organizing principles of design; radiation, opposition, transition, direction, repetition and proportion. The use of kerning was encouraged while the use in color was not.

Overall, I had alot of fun with the assignment. It was interesting to see and hear the creative process which some classmates used for this assignment. For example, to image search the word rage on google is not recommended.
